Theme Song: Trollcake Variety Show
While I was in bed sleeping all day, Nick worked on the Trollcake Variety Show Theme song and nearly completed it. After waking up, we did the vocals and finished it off. Now it’s ready for the podcast!

We are still working on the final version(s) of this new song but I want to share the lyrics with you so you can get an idea how it will turn out.
Background: I have insomnia and sometimes take a sleeping pill to help me sleep at night. About a week ago, I took a sleeping pill at midnight but was still wide awake at 2am so I decided to sit down and write lyrics to a song.
Two hours later this is what I had:
[themify_box color=”light-blue”]I keep thinking of you
Trying hard to reconcile my place
You once loved me too
All I do now is think of your face
You held back your heart
Watching stars as they fell from the sky
You knew from the start
Thinking back on it I wonder why
I should think of you
Trying hard to reconcile your place
When you loved me too
We would live within our warm embrace
How could I not see?
Thinking back I should have seen the sign
You made love to me
Biding time you hoped I’d walk the line
I could think of you
Trying hard to reconcile your place
You once loved me too
Now you’ve disappeared without a trace
Driving late at night
Thought I saw a candle through the blind
Did you see me fight?
Though it’s hard, you know what you can’t find
I can’t think of you
Trying hard to reconcile my place
Did you love me too?
You could never look upon my face
We had such a start
Riding horses through a field of grass
Crying for your heart
I could see your candle through the glass
I won’t think of you
I’ve tried hard to reconcile my place
You once loved me too
How I miss your face[/themify_box]
The above audio file is a version I made with only acoustic guitar.

Sometimes we do something just for fun, and this is one of those cases. 🙂
My friends and I sometimes joke around using different voices, and the other night we were watching The South Park Musical (The movie from 2000) and fell in love (again) with Mr. Mackey’s ridiculous song: It’s Easy M’Kay! (watch below)
We decided to make South-Park-Mr-Mackey-Ringtone using his voice, since it brings us so much joy! 😉
Here you go:
Right-click and “Save link as…” (Windows) or “Download linked file” (Mac)
And here is Mr. Mackey’s musical number from the film:
While Reporter Bart takes a look inside the new Chinese shop that has opened below the Trollcake Studios, Intern Garth takes his first venture on the streets and has trouble with some gay Mexicans at Diego’s Deli. Featuring music from Zoo Gang.
Hope you enjoy it!
